Review:
To be honest, after reading the summary on Goodreads, I was hesitant to pick this one up. It was the Perustopia book club book of the month so I decided to give it a try. I wish I hadn’t.

There is no other way for me to put this pleasantly. This book was just not my cup of tea at all. Do you recognize the feeling when you watch a film but the acting is just extremely pretentious to the point that it's aggravating you? Or when you watch a short clip on the Internet claimed to be filmed on the spot, but you can undeniably observe that it's all acted? Poorly, in this case. This book gave me that same exact feeling...

I genuinely tried to appreciate this book, but it was just so preposterous to me that I had a hard time even completing this novel. The plot twists of this book... I could see them coming miles away.

Perhaps this book is destined for a younger audience? That is debatable though. My judgment on the matter is that the author was trying too hard. Sadly, that didn't quite work out in this case in my opinion.

I wouldn’t recommend this book.
